This cache is located on one of the many beautiful shores of Point. If you are keen fishermen take your rod with you while you look for the cache.
The great chief of clan Maclennan-Macleod was known to have washed here back in the day. This man defended local farms and crofts with a whale bone he carved into a sword during the land riots. If you look closely you may see the remnants of his towel.
In the surrounding area you may wish to observe the variety of wildlife including the great sea otter, seals, dolphins, eagles, whales, fish, seagulls, adders, sheep and cows.
Enjoy the day - take a picnic! Watch your sandwiches though, the mink might be hungry!!!!!
