Geocache Description:

On this property was home that my family owned for over 60 years, before it had to be torn down.  It was called a Quonset hut style home. There are still a few left in Sturtevant, but not many.

A Quonset hut is a lightweight prefabricated structure made of  galvanized steel. The design was based on the Native American Nissen hut during World War I.

~ Congrats to TomK for the FTF honors!~
