Willingdon Circular is a short 3 mile round route. The route initially takes you along a public footpath across grassland with stiles to cross. You will then join up with the Cuckoo Trail near Stone Cross and walk along this to Polegate before taking another cross country public path back to Willingdon.
The route takes you over an unmanned pedestrian railway crossing. You will encounter livestock and wildlife - whilst setting this trail I came across sheep, cows, horses, rabbits, various birds, squirrels and even a snake!
Suggested parking is at either The Triangle or Broad Road, both of which are only a short walk from this first cache, or closer still Oxendean Gardens then take the walkway through to Eastbourne Rd.
