Pershing County, located about 30 miles from Lovelock. You can
reach it from the Imlay side also, but the road is a little
rougher. You need a high clearance vehicle.
There are many open mine shafts in this area, so be sure to keep a
close eye on the kids and the dogs. The cache should be Fairly easy
to find. Didn't hide it too hard as the area is so remote, didn't
feel that someone would just stumble across it too easy. The cache
is in an ammo can.
This is the site of the old Superior Mine. I will do some research
one of these days and see it I can find some more information on
it, and update this description. Wanted to place another cache in
this area just crying for more caches.
Enjoy the mine, but again, watch you step and keep an eye on the
little ones.
