Difficulty 3. This is a 9 mile round trip on boots/snowshoes or XC skis
in the winter, 6 miles round trip hike in the summer. The road may be
closed by the park service at any time without warning during the
winter.
Terrain is 3 to 4 depending on season. Crossing Moro Creek and
also Panther Creek may be treacherous on times of high runoff - you may
need a rope at these times. Plan on a whole day and bring a lunch. Also
the camera and the trusty binoculars. Actual cache is 13 m from the
coords, in a hollow tree near the campfire ring. Explore Hospital Rock
and the swimming pool while you are at it. We found a bottle with
several beautiful watercolors from the week before in our hollow tree -
pre-cache-ous?
Park entrance fee is $10 per car unless you have a Golden Eagle, etc.

Location N36 32 09.8 W118 42 58.2 - then 13m to the hollow tree uphill
of the campfire ring.
Special Information - This is a ceramic coffee canister - I think it
will seal well but might be a little fragile. Would like some feedback
as to the condition of the container please. It's not that big, small
items only please. The sticker on top was printed by one of my clients.
