A Perfect 10
Once
again the Space Coast Geocachers will be hosting a multi event
honoring this unusual day the tenth day of the tenth month of the
10 year. We are once again involved in the group project of the
making of the Powers ofm 10 Geocoin. We will only have 75 of these
coins available at the event.
At this event we will
incorporate our 10 virtues of caching:
-
Join a Club
-
Mark your car
-
Respect Nature
-
Respect Private
Property
-
Trade even or Trade
Up
-
Rehide as well or better than
you found it
-
Be Stealthy
-
Hide a Cache and give back to
the game
-
Practice CITO
-
Write a good log
We
will be placing some new and possibly some temporary caches for
everyone to do while in the park. We have a few ideas of
things to do during the event so keep checking back on the cache
page or become a fan on
Facebook to keep up with what is going on.
This
event will be held at F. Burton Smith Park in Cocoa on HWY 520 West
of Interstate 95. The event will start promptly at 10:10
a.m. A group photo will be taken and then you will be free to
schmooze or head out and grab some caches.
We are not renting the pavilion but as of now it will be available
for our use. If that changes we will set up some canopies nearby
and make due...after all we are
geocachers.
