IntotheWoods: Went and checked on the cache this morning. It was very hard to find with all the fallen leaves. In the end I decided to archive it, since I find its hiding place to be far too exposed (two houses very nearby). It worked a lot better with all the leaves on the trees--go figure. I'm going to see if I can rework it into my original plan--a multicache on the Leatherstocking Trail. Thanks for finding!

Geocache Description:

A nice walk in the woods.

"Hamburgers, Fondue, and Baguettes" is located on the Leatherstocking Trail in Mamaroneck, NY. You can access the trail from several roads; however, parking may be difficult. We recommend you park near our school on New St., or one of the surrounding streets. The trailhead is a short walk up the hill and across Rt. 95.

The cache is a small, round container with a blue lid containing a logbook and pencil, a sharpener, batteries, and a geocoin. Please bring very small items only.

This cache was placed on the last day of class by the 10th grade ESL class of the French-American School of NY. The name of the cache represents our three nationalities--American, Swiss, and French.
