Camp & Glamp #2.5
Come one, come all! Camp & Glamp #2.5 is set for April 25th -27th. The event will be held at Slough Creek on Perry Lake (do-over after the government interfered with our plans last October). There may be other events added so watch for them. The Camping will begin on Friday afternoon/evening. That night we'll enjoy hotdogs and smores around the campfire.
Camping: An outdoor recreational activity. The participants (known as campers) leave urban areas, their home region, or civilization and enjoy nature while spending one or several nights outdoors, usually at a campsite. Camping may involve the use of a tent, caravan, motorhome, a primitive structure, or no shelter at all.
Glamping: A luxury form of camping which includes expensive equipment, high-class facilities, luxury food and drink, etc. NOTE: Event host will not be providing any of those things however, glampers may share in some low class food and drink if they are so inclined.
Glampers enjoying more cushy digs in Topeka, Lawrence, or Kansas City are welcome to join in the campfire fun each day. but all non-campers must exit the campground by 10pm.
For those that haven't cached around Lake Perry, there's lots to offer, especially if you like hiking in the woods.
