Geocache Description:

A circuit of the Glen Artney Donalds and tops. This is described as a clockwise circuit. This makes a good walking day out, or can be split into shorter walks if time is limited.

When I was hiding the cache I saw a pair of goats impossibly perched among the rocks.
This cache is not on a logical route between 2 of the other caches in this series but it is in a really exciting place. The difficulty rating reflects the route finding decisions you will have to make. The 5* terrain difficulty reflects a descent down the ravine to the cache. However this is not essential and it is possible to traverse in to the cache fairly easily from the Coire. This reduces the terrain difficulty. Obviously extreme care needs to be taken which ever way you approach this because of the cliffs. There is loose scree and loose rocks in the ravine, so take care. If you are not happy about what you see at the top do not even attempt this. Only attempt to reach the cache by descending the ravine in good visibilty and dry weather.

Near the bottom of the ravine there is a small rough track that traverses out to the East The cache is about 15m along this track.

**** congratulations to the Swedish Cachers on their FTF*****
