Geocache Description:

On April 6, let's get together for a little geocaching fun. Meet Drifty and I, GrizzlyRider, at the coordinates for this cache and we'll get to know one another and then let's go for a ride! Let's go get some caches, too! But, if you come, you'll need an ATV or other 4x4 vehicle for some of this ride.

This cache is being archived. It has been 3 months since the event, so I think it's time to say goodbye. GoodBye
If you have an ATV or some other 4x4 with some good ground clearance, then come and have some fun. Meet us at the posted coordinates and we'll go out for a nice ride, see some beautiful country and find some caches along the way. We will met at 9:00am and get riding by 9:30am.

News Flash! We have contacted someone in the St. George area that has 4 ATVs that he is willing to rent. These are Polaris Trailblazer 250 2x4. If we can get all 4 rented, the cost will be $75 per machine. He will even bring them to the starting point and teach the people a little about riding. These will be on a first-come first-serve basis. If you are seriously interested, please e-mail me at mratvrider@msn.com. Please, serious inquiries only. This offer is intended only as a courtesy to fellow geocachers.

We are planning on having 2 stages to this trek. The first stage will take us from Bloomington out to the Virgin Gorge. This is a 30-40 mile drive round trip. The second stage we will swing north and loop back to the starting place. This will be an extra 20-30 miles. There may be a couple of places that will require some ATV Riding skills. There is a river crossing in 2 feet of water and some steep rocky places. But for those who aren't real comfortable, we'll help you through. These sections may not be too good for anything but ATVs. However, those who don't have ATVs, could possibly go down the freeway to the 2 caches in this area.

The Caches that we are looking to hit are:

But not necessarily in that order.

This cache may change a little bit over the next couple of weeks, so check back just before the April 6 to make sure of the meeting place, etc.

Please e-mail us or log a note on this page if you are planning on going on this Ride with us.
