WW2 Koko Crater Bunker Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Donnacha: I can confirm that the cache has gone again. I think it's time for me to give up this location and free it up for a local. I'd like to thank Cormac for looking after the cache for the last couple years and to all who found.

Slán,
Donnacha.

Geocache Description:

Located on top of Koko crater. Not a cache to take kids on, bring sunscreen and at least one bottle of water per person. Avoid during stormy wet weather. Trail gets quite steep as you get closer to the top. This cache is being maintained by my Uncle and two cousins who live near the cache site.

Trail starts at N 21 16.637 W 157 41.537, you can park here as well. Follow the old tram line (N 21 16.848 W 157 41.516) to the top. As I'm from Ireland cache contains some Irish goodies. When at the summit you'll be 384m up! Catch your breath and enjoy the view.

Original Cache Contained:

Irish Teddy
Guinness Playing Cards
Guinness Bar Towel
Guinness Coasters X 10
Irish Lucky Penny
Authentic Blarney Luck Stone
Lucky Irish Pint Stone
Shamrock Fridge Magnet

When you're done caching, there is log book that someone left that you can sign. It's in an ammo box and can be found @ N 21 17.104 W 157 41.181.
