This cache has a Best Time Recommendation -
Recommended at dusk, in the winter.

Most Albertans have become inured to the Canada Goose. It is
such a common sight in our waterways and fields that we just take
it for granted, seeking this cache during the recommended time will
change that.
This pathway is part of the Trans Canada Trail System. If you
approach this cache from the north there is an excellent small sign
that tells you a fair bit of information about the Canada Goose but
it won't be able to prepare you for this cache.
The Bird caches are usually small caches, never ammo
cans, and are placed in hides, this design feature gives the cache
container longer life in our harsh Canadian climate. Every Bird
cache will be contained in some type of protective hide and this
hide was different and a lot of fun. This cache took more revisits
than any other cache I have made.
Cory's friends placed a bench here in memory of Cory and this
bench is a great feature which will help you find this cache. You
need to look directly behind the bench and find "Rocy" (pronounced
rock key).
This cache is placed where non-geocachers in a specific location
can overlook exactly what happens so please be careful and make
sure you are not being observed.
If you enjoy this cache please write about your visit in the
