Geocache Description:

Great view. Bring a lunch or a dinner snack, if visiting in the evening, and enjoy a peaceful moment.

"All the world's a cache, and all the men and women merely cachers". When visiting one of Tampa's premier public parks, come over to this cache for a nice view and a cool breeze. Find the small 1'x1' square cut into the concrete that should be pinpointed by the coordinates and find what happens when you stand at this point. If nothing seems to happen, then think louder! It is often easier to figure out what is supposed to occur when are standing there with a friend nearby. Please don't post what specifically happens in your log so that others can experience it for themselves. Apparently geocaching.com rules for the virtual caches that still survive (new virtual caches ended in 2005) require that proof be made that a cache was visited (even though traditional caches do not, especially since no cache owner is going to really go through the signed log and compare it to the log list on the website). So, for verification, please e-mail (do not post on the site) what happened when you were at the pinpointed location; the small square just under the overhang. Even if coordinates don't get you to the exact spot, the description should have you easily locate it. This used to be one of my favorite urban after-sunset spots that offer a great view of the historic University of Tampa and its minarets. Over the last decade, the City of Tampa has drastically improved the waterfront accessibility through its Riverwalk Project. I felt this is a really good spot to experience and easy to pass if walking by and hoped others could enjoy it.
