A wonderful mountain hike passing the Liezener Hütte up to an alp which is not farmed anymore and many huts. Many Alpenrosen are blooming in July. There you will find the “Eiskeller”.
Eine wunderschöne Bergtour über die Liezener Hütte zu einer nicht mehr bewirtschafteten Alm mit vielen Hütten. Im Juli blühen die Alpenrosen – „Almrausch“. Dort findest du auch den “Eiskeller”.

Start with the route #218 to Brunnalm. You will walk near the Goldbachl.
After approx 5-10 minutes later the marked track will leave the Goldbachl and turns to East. Stay on the marked way till a track – at the beginning there is a stoneman – will turn right to the Steinfeldalm – N 47° 36,452’ und E 014° 10,526’.
Beginne mit dem Weg 218 zur Brunnalm. Du gehst neben dem Goldbachl.
Nach ca. 5-10 Minuten führt der markierte Weg nach Osten und verlässt das Goldbachl. Bleibe auf dem markierten Weg bis ein Steig – am Beginn ein Steinmandl – zur Steinfeldalm nach rechts abzweigt – N 47° 36,452’ und E 014° 10,526’
Follow the track before you reach the Steinfeldalm.
Folge dem Steig bis kurz vor die Steinfeldalm.
Find the Eiskeller at (approx. 45 minutes from the Liezener Hütte)

1. Take a picture from you and/or your GPS in front of the Eiskeller
2. Upload the picture and answer with your log following questions:
a. How has the Eiskeller been generated?
b. What has it been used for?
3. Your log will be released, when you send following answers to mythos-dreaming:
a. What is the name of the highest mountain in a radius of 10 kilometer?
b. What is the altitude of this mountain +/- 10m?
c. What is the altitude difference between this mountain and your altitude +/- 20m?
