Geocache Description:

Near the Bagdad-Chase mine, 8 miles south of Ludlow, CA
This great cache was adopted by gophertrax October 13, 2005.

Go east on Route 66 to the stop sign for the old Main St., turn right and go under the BNSF Railroad. Turn right and find the cemetary. Take that road south to Rochester (Stedman). It's a fairly easy drive with a few sandy or gravel spots.

A great place for a weekend camp, but be careful of the old mines and shafts. Some are 'fenced' some aren't!

For the Railroad Buff, this was the terminus of the Ludlow & Southern Railway that hauled over $6,000,000 in gold early in the 1900's.

The cache is a gallon (restaurant style) jug.

Snoopy (from the Bagdad Swag) walked over.

A little history and a 'Ghost' picture of the area, plus some goodies started the cache.
