COORDINATES
First off, I should note that this was really a topical cache when
it was placed. Now it's more than a year out of date. It will
probably last just another couple months (since it's in the
FSU*Noles puzzle pack). If you want it, get it fairly soon.
Another Season come and gone.
At the outset, the Browns, Steelers and Bengals probably thought
they were a representative group heading in the right direction.
But wait a minute... the Titans, Falcons and Saints also felt they
should be added to consideration. Even the lowly Lions and Raiders
added that together if they multiplied their efforts like the
Dolphins of old, they could get there.
The Chargers with their triple threat figured to be ready to
subtract the Bears from the trophy hunt - but it wasn't to be.
The Packers played hard every minute without a season extending
reward, and the fractional efforts by the Vikings, Redskins, Bills,
Eagles, Cardinals, Raiders and Lions didn't get the job done.
By Super Bowl Sunday, only two teams remained. A midwestern border
battle of sorts at that.
Eleven Hard Hats positioned themselves on each side of a line,
with "The Duke" between them. It ended up being the Colts over the
Bears... but even if it had been the Bears over the Colts you
should have been able to determine just where "The Duke" lies.
