Big Myrtle Traditional Cache
busternfruss: The nearby businesses have changed since I obtained permission for this cache, so I'm going to archive it rather than try to obtain new permission. Other than an early location destruction and move, this cache behaved herself and survived for ten and a half years. It's been fun; many thanks to all who found it. Big Myrtle still puts on a beautiful pink display in the late summers, so if you're in the area at those times take a look at her! Happy caching~ B&F

UPDATE: This cache is now a single stage cache, not a multi, because stage two's location was destroyed.
The cache is not near the railroad tracks! Stay away from them.
Myrtle's just a big old country girl, but many have admired her beauty over the years. She's a late summer girl, though, and doesn't bother to put on any lipstick or blush in winter or spring.
Park in one of the parking spots right beside Big Myrtle. She shelters the cache. There are usually a few muggles around so please be stealthy when needed.
Caution: Don't go on the grassy area between Myrtle and the highway for obvious safety reasons. STAY AWAY from the RR tracks--the cache is not on that side! Keep children and pets close; there is nearby traffic including fast exits from the little gravel road past the larger parking area, but the immediate area of the cache should be safe. Wheelchairs can get within a few feet of the cache.
The cache was placed with the verbal permission of the manager of the nearby community food and clothing bank.
Benchmark DG3115 is also on the property.
