Team Laxson: Cache/Benchmark destroyed

Due to inactivity on the cache, we decided to check up on it today. We're happy to report that the cache remained intact at the extact spot described, with the exception of the witness post, which is missing. Due to the construction in the area, we pulled the container for the time being.

On the way home, thinking of the entire Trove, we decided that the series has ran it's life, and we're pulling it down.

DESCRIBED BY TEAM LAXSON 2006 THE CACHE IS LOCATED ABOUT 6 MI (9.7 KM) EAST-NORTHEAST OF LONGMONT, 4.5 MI (7.2 KM) SOUTHWEST OF GOWANDA AND 1.2 MI (1.9 KM) NORTH-NORTHEAST OF BARBOUR PONDS STATE PARK, IN THE NORTHWEST 1/4 OF SECTION 35, T 3 N, R 68 W, AT INTERSTATE 25 MILEPOST 242.1. OWNERSHIP--WELD COUNTY ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE INTERSECTION OF INTERSTATE 25 AND STATE HIGHWAY 119, EXIT 240, GO NORTH ON THE EASTERN FRONTAGE ROAD FOR 2.0 MI (3.2 KM) TO THE STATION ON THE RIGHT, JUST BEFORE COUNTY ROAD 28 THE STATION IS A SMALL CACHE SET IN A CONCRETE FOUNDATION AND IS 3 INCHES ABOVE THE GROUND. IT IS 85.0 FT SOUTH OF THE CENTER OF COUNTY ROAD 28, 162.0 FT EAST OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE EASTERN FRONTAGE ROAD, 120.9 FT EAST OF A FENCE CORNER, 3.1 FT (0.9 M) NORTH OF A WIRE FENCE, 2.6 FT (0.8 M) SOUTh OF A WITNESS POST AND ABOUT 1 FT (0.3 M) ABOVE THE FRONTAGE ROAD.
