Geocache Description:

VERY easy, short walk, nearly wheelchair accessible (firegate blocks path...). There are NO parking fees, no user fees and there ARE public restrooms with Real, Live FLUSHING toilets, changing tables, running water, cold outdoor showers, changing rooms and, in the women's stall for disabled persons, there's a really NIFTY kiddy seat in which to restrain your toddler while you...do your business.

This cache marks an area we love to explore. Very kid-friendly contents originally.

Bring your own jackets, picnics and sand shovels, put away your watch and enjoy a day at the beach.

Stinson Beach State Park is a popular stop for visitors from around the world traveling up Highway 1 from San Francisco. This easy-to-find cache is family friendly and is placed along a great path for stretching legs after a windy stretch of road. It's also a great spot from which to begin exploring beach wonders.
PLEASE NOTE: If you're expecting to park and grab from the lot closest to the cache you'll wait a LOOOOOONG time. The dirt lot with the mounds is hardly EVER open (HUGE weekends, that's it). So, park on the pavement and enjoy this SHORT walk.
