Geocache Description:

Also known as Stafford Castle Cache, "Any Fort In A Storm" is situated in the castle grounds.

This is the second in a set of seven caches in the “Road to the Wrekin” series. The first 6 caches are just off the A518, which runs from Uttoxeter to Telford through Staffordshire and Shropshire.

  1. The Urn
  2. Any Fort In A Storm*
  3. Tunnel Vision
  4. Broad Hill Revisited
  5. Aqualate Mere
  6. Crisis Point
  7. Wrekin Havoc!

Can you complete all seven in a day?!

This cache is a tupperware box placed by the perimeter fence of Stafford Castle. Parking and entrance is free and please visit the information centre and gift shop.

Opening times: Castle Grounds open all year. Visitor Centre & Castle; open Tuesday to Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays 10.00am - 5.00pm (April to October) 10.00am - 4.00pm (November to March).

It can get quite busy in summer and especially when windy (as many people fly kites up there) so make sure you are discreet (although the cache site is quite hidden). Good Luck!
