A bring a picnic Birthday Event to celebrate CacheWalker turning 5!! Five years ago the first group walk took place, and CacheWalker was founded! So, come along, bring a picnic, and celebrate with us!!
Everyone is welcome, cachers old and new. Come along and enjoy some Geocaching chit chat, some birthday fun, and a good picnic, all within the stunning location of Dovers Hill, home to the 400 year old Cotswold Olimpicks.
12 noon - 15:30: The event - Dovers Hill, Chipping Campden
At 12 noon, we will begin to gather on Dovers Hill, and enjoy the typical Geocaching chit chat, before settling down to enjoy our picnics. There is ample parking at the Dovers Hill car-park (see waypoint) and bring your GPSr's, as GZ is a small walk from the car-park itself, as this area has more shelter, should the weather turn on us. Throughout the event, some new caches will be going live, and so you may wish to go out and find them at some point (see below for more). No refreshments will be provided - so please remember to bring a picnic. There will of course be the usual trackable swapping/spotting too.
15:30- 16:00ish: Presents, Raffle and farewells
Once everyone is done with their picnics, we will all come together for the "Secret Birthday presents" handing out (see below), the raffle draw (see below!) before a 5 year group photo will be taken, and we say our final farewells after a bit more Geochat 
Other Stuff
Caches, and 5 icons
As is traditional with CacheWalker events, new caches will be released on the day. As it's a picnic, there will be no group walk, however, some new caches will still go live, and so you can go out and find them whenever you desire. As it's CacheWalker's 5th Birthday, we've decided to release all the new caches over 5 icons; Traditional, Multi, Earthcache a virtual (Outforthehunt has kindly agreed to bring YOSMto the trig point on the hill) and a Letterbox Hybrid. And as a bonus sixth icon is the big event itself. And, if you haven't already found it, Wrighty's Cotswold Olimpicks multi can be found near to the event, GCYRGF
Secret Birthday Presents
If you wish to join in please purchase an item, preferably Geocaching related (that you would want to receive!) for around £5. On arrival please drop your wrapped gift into the birthday bag and enter your name slip in the lock 'n' lock box. Each present will be selected, and a recipient's name drawn from the lock 'n' lock box! PLEASE DO NOT ENTER YOUR NAME IN THE DRAW IF YOU DO NOT GIVE A GIFT, we don't want any disappointments at a Birthday party!
Shin Kicking
By popular demand, some of our CacheWalker clan will be shin kicking, a Cotswold tradition, at the Olimpicks, held every year on Dovers Hill. You're more than welcome to take part, if you'd like to.
Mega 2013 Raffle
As part of the Mega 2013 committee's on-going fundraising efforts for next years annual Mega event, visiting the West Midlands Region, The Cuthies and Max will be running a raffle. It would be appreciated if any attendee would like to donate a raffle prize to help raise funds for the 2013 Mega event. £2 per strip or 3 strips for £5
