Cost is $25 per person, children four years and under are free, pre-registration is recommended. A $25 membership to Washington's National Park Fund is encouraged. The Search is a geocaching event benefiting Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic national parks.
This is the first ever geocaching event held to support the protection and preservation of wild lands.
The Search is a team-based geocaching adventure. Teams may compete for logic puzzle caches, ultra-fitness caches, family caches, and beginner's caches. More success equals more prizes - its that simple!
The Search will be held in a wilderness location. We will be hiking through varied terrain.
A good rule for Washington weather is hope for the best and prepare for EVERYTHING!
