THIS IS A NIGHT CACHE! A good, high powered flashlight is necessary, though we were able to find all with a Mini-Mag.
Back in November of 2004 I was the last to find GCGFY3 hidden by Akulakat. Since parts of the cache were missing I was asked to take the pins. I took them with the promise to make my own night cache "sometime". Well, here it is(just over 3 years later)!
You think I'm crazy for putting a night cache in a neighborhood, I know. I think when you search this one you will find that it is tough and easy, all at the same time. Each find should direct you clearly on to the next find. Since this is in a neighborhood it makes sense that you maintain sensible hours and manners. The final is a micro container with a log only.
Your first stop is a dog's best friend. Don't park in front of it or you might get in trouble. From here, start shining your light around (West) to find your tiny little "stars". Follow the trail created by these tiny little reflectors. Several times on your journey you will find some white stars but most will be orange stars. The cache is hidden with multiple oranges (keep following until you find a spot with more than one orange grouped together). The hint is useful at the final location.
All stars are located lower than 8 ft. You may need to stand within 10 feet of each star to locate the next, and on occasion even squat down to see the next.
No need to relocate your car during this cache. I've added a hint to help find the final from the end of the trail.
