There is a clearly marked trail for most of the way if you take the proper trail. The cache is on the top of a hill.
This is my second cache. I found this spot while doing some exploring on my mountain bike. There are two trails that you can take, but one is overgrown and difficult to follow. The best trail starts at these coordinates:
N49 46.340' W094 29.384'. This is a pretty straight forward trail. The trail starts in the parking lot of a public school, so please do not park in the parking lot during school hours. There is parking available on nearby roads. The cache is a ammo can that has been camo painted. The coordinates are very close to the cache. The GPS reception was excellent. The cache contains:
- a beaded necklace
- an apron
- 3 golf balls
- fishing tackle
- and Punky the Travelling Treasure Troll (this is his starting point and he is hoping to see the world).
Good luck hunting and take a moment to enjoy the view of Downtown Kenora and the Harbour.
