A large (32 oz.) plastic peanut container, located in a BREC park near Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport (BTR). Too far to walk from the airport, but a nice stop on the way in or out of town by air.
The cache can be accessed from the north (near BTR) or south. The northern access is easier by car, but will result in a little longer, but nice walk in the park. The park runs along side of I-110, and is large, but rarely used. It can not be accessed directly from I-110! The park closes at dusk, and I wouldn't advise going there after dark. The coordinates will take you right to the cache's location, where you will need to use elementary geocaching skills to locate the cache. We hid it a couple of weeks ago, and I went back to recheck the coordinates and found the cache in the open, untouched. If you find it this way, please carefully replace the cache to its rightful hiding place. It location is great for swapping TBs and is large enough to accomodate them, so we'll drop one there soon. We've included a log, pen, and few other goodies.
