Geocache Description:

This should be a cache that is easily reached with a little balance and some nimbleness.

This cache is part of a planned series of caches which are designed to bring the cacher to different areas where the Mecan River can be viewed. Nearly fifty miles of stream wind their way south-southeast from the gorgeous headwaters near Coloma, to the point where the Mecan empties into the Fox River. Many of the caches are located on the 6,600+ acres of public land that are found along the Mecan River corridor. Please enjoy the views that this pristine waterway provides to all of us.

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Paul Samerdyke at the Wautoma Office of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager.
