a.k.a. That Dam well hidden little cache! Dam easy to get to. Dam hard to find!
This cache is in a decon container. It’s clipped to vine in the brush at the south end of one of Georgetown’s many CCC (WPA) low water dams. Parking is in Chandler Park. The hike is only about 5 feet off a concrete hike and bike trail. Elevation change is only 2 feet. Simple “park and grab” right? I don’t think so!! Check this cache’s difficulty rating again. This cache has a camouflage treatment that even confounded the original hider! I’ve been back to the site twice since I hid it, and had to ask my better half for help locating it each time. It was in plain site, and I couldn’t see it 3 feet away!!
There is no need to go down to the water's edge for this one. It is well within reach of dry ground.
