Breathless ist der 2. der 3 Reichenstein caches und auf vielen gut markierten Wegen leicht zu erreichen. Der kürzeste Zustieg ist vom Präbichl aus nur 2 Stunden lang.(Weg Nr. 6 Parken bei N47 31.104 E14 56.986) Kommt man vom „Breathtaking“ cache und damit vom Roththörl dann ist der Reichenstein in knapp 1 ½ Stunden besteigen. Die Aussicht ist genauso atemberaubend wie der Aufstieg. Daher auch der Cachename. Immerhin gibt es im Gipfelbereich die sehr schön gelegene und gut geführte Reichensteinhütte.
Der Cache ist nahe der Hütte so versteckt das er ohne Absturzgefahr gesucht werden kann. Allerdings ist er auch gleich neben dem Anstiegsweg. Also bitte um etwas Vorsicht.
Wer den Rundweg machen will sollte sich die Buchstaben C und D von der 1. Seite des Logbuches notieren!
Die Reihenfolge der Reichensteiner caches ist: Breathtaking(GCP5QQ), Breathless(GCP5R2), Hooray! I can breath again.(GCP5R9) Alle 3 sind an einem (langen) Tag bei stabilem Wetter und guter Kondition zu machen.
Zum 3. Reichensteiner cache muss man in Richtung Hirnalm absteigen. Es ist dabei unerheblich ob man den Weg Nr. 605 über den Krumpenhals und den Krumpensee nimt (sehr empfehlenswert da großartig Hochgebirgskulisse) oder über das Roththörl geht.
Breathless is the 2. out of the 3 Reichenstein caches and can be reached at various well marked and easy paths. The shortest ascend from Präbichl is just 2 hours (Path Nr. 6 Parking at N47 31.104 E14 56.986) and if you should be coming from Breathtaking and therefore from Roththörl it is only 1 ½ hours to the summit.
The view from the top is outstanding but the ascend will make you breathless. As a reward there waits the Reichensteinhütte near the summit with cold beverages and nice food.
The cache is hidden near the summit cross and can be searched without any risk. But it is also very close to the hiking path. Please take care not to be seen by muggles. If you want to make the round trip please note the letter C and D from the 1. page of the logbook!
The order of the Reichenstein caches is: Breathtaking(GCP5QQ), Breathless(GCP5R2), Hooray! I can breath again.(GCP5R9) All 3 caches can be done in one (long) day if you have stable weather and good endurance.
To find the 3. cache it does not matter if you take Path Nr. 605 over Krumpenhals to Krumpensee (highly recommended due to the high alpine surrounding) or the Path via Roththörl since both of them lead to Hirnalm and the Parking anyway.
