Gone West UK Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

parkmoy: There's been a clean up at the bridge and this one is MIA. It was the most westerly cache in the UK when it was placed but has now been superseded by one on St Kilda so it's now officially retired.

Geocache Description:

Bradoge Bridge, County Fermanagh.

Bradoge Bridge is the westernmost point in the inhabited United Kingdom. Only Rockall and Soay, St Kilda, are further west and they are uninhabited.

At the time of placing this cache claims to be the furthest west in the UK. That is its only claim to fame, since this spot is neither particularly scenic nor possessed of any other interesting feature. At least you don't have to mount an expedition to log it!

The cache is a small tab lock box 10cm x 6cm x 5cm enclosed in a black fabric bag and it contains a few small trinkets.
