We all know that there just aren't enough close by events around to help us earn that blasted souvenir. So here, we present to you all, a local option to come meet some other like minded people in the area while you cache, swim, picnic or whatever else you may find to do at beautiful Sampson State Park!
The gates are open for free admission from 3 p.m. onward so stop on down to the marina pavilion and introduce yourself. We will be hanging around until around 6 o'clock and looking forward to chatting it up while putting some new faces with the names we read almost every day on the log sheets of our mutual obsession.
We are conveniently located near the marina, swimming area, and playground. There will be picnic tables and grils available for anyone looking to cook dinner for themselves and some other minor caching themed distractions as well. Plan an entire day of family fun, if you so choose, and still go home with an event smiley to boot! What more could anyone ask for?
