Not far from paved access and very close to where GeoPom completed her PhD. You may need to be patient with your GPS as it's signal may be affected by nearby buildings and trees. Geopom replaced this while back in Calgary (from New Zealand) visiting the canadian arctic for more post doctoral research.
The regular sized Ammo container cache has been placed (now replaced with a flat tupperware container - Sept 1st 2010 - after being muggled) in recognition of my wife's (GeoPom) successful defense of her PhD on Friday December 5th 2008. This cache when originally placed contained a few University of Calgary items and would love to have other University emblems/items deposited here, but now only contains a log book.
Because of our international experiences in different universities I would like to create a list of all universities attended by geocachers who find this cache...PLEASE POST YOUR UNIVERSITY AFFILIATIONS (working and studying) WHEN LOGGING THIS FIND (both in the book and online)
I hope the FTF prize ($10 University of Calgary Book Store Gift card) was spent wisely!!!
