Geocache Description:

Bring your kayak, canoe, or shallow draft boat

The posted coordinates are not for the actual cache. They are for a boat launch, in fact, the only public boat launch on this lake, and very close to another cache you could do at the same time. You will need some sort of water transportation to get the 1.45 km. to the actual cache.
If you are really adventurous, you could go bushwhacking across approximately 1 km. of bush and swampland through crown land, but I would not recommend that approach. You may not even find the starting point of the stream bed. Please do not attempt crossing the ice in spring or fall, as the area near the cache has consistently porous ice cover.
A word of caution. The public boat launch is about a 50 degree angle into the water under the waterline, and you may need 4X4 to get your boat out, but the good news is that it is 10 feet deep at the entry point.
If all else fails, contact me to see if I have my boat on the lake when you want to make the attempt.
To find this cache, you will need to decrypt the following:
North= 255 255 0, 0 255 0 degrees 255 255 0, 190 190 190, point 255 255 0, 255 255 255, 190 190 190.
West 238 130 238, 255 255 255 degrees 255 165 0, 255 0 0 point 0 255 0, 255 165 0, 255 0 0.
This cache will be near impossible after freeze up, but a little perseverance and a little luck could get you close.
Please be sure that the cache container is sealed before replacing. The log and goodies are double ziplocked just in case. Please no spoilers on your logs. Let's keep this just as challenging for the next seekers. Be sure to replace the cache container as found, including the weight that keeps it submerged.
