This cache is a small ammo can. Don't expect the GPS to get you any closer than the general area. Mine never had more than 50 feet accuracy. It's a deep gorge with lots of tree cover! The walk to the cache is short. The walk back to parking will seem a lot further.
The coordinates for the trail head are:
N 38 20.334
W 081 43.183
There is a small post marking the trail. This is not the only trail that will take you to the cache but there is parking for 2 cars pretty close to this trail head. I did leave a little clue near the cache if you know me and are clever enough to suss it out. I hope you aren't afraid to get your feet wet. This is a great cache for dogs. I had 4 with me when I hid it. The DS, of course, and LL Larkin as well as Gabby & Sierra who belong to a newbie named Greg I met while looking for a landmark bubbling near this cache. (Don't Light a match!) He was kind enough to show me the way and I initiated him to geocacheing. The original contents of the cache include:
a towel (always keep one handy)
spooky cd
a stuffed animal
bug trading cards
baseball cards
a beef scented air freshener
crayons
a coin purse
silver nail polish
Have fun!
The terrain rating is for the short hike in and out. The cache itself is easily reached.
