When you reach the coordinates for this cache, look across to the railroad tracks and you will see a location designated "ERIC" (at least that's what it shows on my GPS receiver), almost like it's calling my name...
You are looking for a Costco nut jar jammed full of cool stuff. TickBait and I placed this on the occasion of my 48th birthday after an excellent day of caching and trainspotting along highway 58, the Southern Pacific Railroad, and the sleepy little town of Tehachapi. From this location, you get excellent views of the wind farms, the Sierra Mountains, Highway 58, and the occasional train. After you find the cache, just stand for awhile and take it all in...
