Jarrahdale Rewards One Traditional Cache
ReadyRex: While we went and looked for the Jarrahdale Rewards Two we also decided to archive this one as it is difficult for us to maintain. It had 8 years and that is a good run. Thanks for all the comments and we shall keep the log book as a memento.

Great walk and a nice reward for those willing to walk.
We park the car at Stacey's Track Carpark (S32 20.2177 E116 03.1527). We follow Staceys Track and then get on to Kitty Gorge Track. This is a 6km return trip from the carpark. It is part of the Jarrahdale Heritage Track and it contains beautiful scenery as you follow the Gooralong Brook to the hide. It takes about 1:45 - 2hours for the return trip. When you get close to GZ you are looking for a tree growing on a rock which also has a branch arching over and effectively points to the location of the cache. A short climb and hidden around the back of some rocks, covered in sticks is the location.
There is a reward not only in the scenery but there are 3 certificates for First, Second and Third finders.
Instructions are inside the cache which contains 10 medals. These are the items to be exchanged for other items.
We hope you enjoy the outing, the hunt and the reward and remember to take plenty of drinking water with you as this is not a easy walk for the inexperienced.
