burchil: Parker Forest cache has lived a good life and the container needs to come home. To keep this area in cache action I have placed another nearby.

The cache is found in a wooded area north of Parker Ave, Winnipeg. After heavy rain and in the spring the area is very wet.
This cache is in a clear container with a screw down red top. This is a nice wooded area that is rarely used with a good chance of a deer encounter. South of the forest there is a wide hydro (electrical) right of way that is used quite a bit by people walking their dogs.
See June 6th, 2005 (spoiler) if you want to find a possible dry foot route. In the winter you can get reasonably close on walking trails.
