Geocache Description:

This area of San Francisco is not only little-known, but little-cached. I hope to change that.

In an attempt to introduce geocachers to the expansive John McLaren Park, I've hidden a few caches in various places. Since I don't cache at night, I can't vouch what this park is like then-- but it looks less-inhabited (or permanently camped in) than Golden Gate Park.

You're looking for an ammo box hidden with some of the local materials available. Plan on going off-trail, which means different things at different times of the year. You should not encounter any poison oak here, although you might walk by some on the way depending on the path you choose. Please rehide as well or better than you found it!
