This cache is located on the Cow Pasture Trail in the Monongahela National Forest. The cache is very close to the trail. Please stay on the trail until you are near the cache.
The Cow Pasture Trail, along with a short section of Forest Road 102 can be used to make a 7.4 mile loop hike around the Cranberry Glades. The cache is located about halfway around the loop, near one of my favorite resting spots. Pack in a lunch or a snack and enjoy the view.
Parking is available at the Cranberry Glades parking area, or there are a few parking spots near trailhead 1, or there is another lot near trailhead 2, near the gate on the forest road.
