Geocache Description:

A small, nearly unknown playground in Port Orchard. Parking is on Dekalb Street.

Clayton Playground was named in memory of Michael Clayton, a crewman of the submarine USS Lewis and Clark. The picture is the Memorial Plaque that was erected in Michael’s memory.

This park is open 24/7. It would be a nice place to have a picnic, or to let the kids play.

There are several pieces of playground equipment, a covered picnic area, a basketball court, and an open field for general horsing around.

There is a plumbed-in restroom! Not one of the porta-potties you see in other parks.

Also, there is a drinking fountain. On the side of the fountain, there is a hose hook-up.

You are looking for a very well-hidden film cannister- sized paint jar.

Bring your own writing utensil. PLEASE hide precisely as you found it.

The coordinates were taken with a 20-foot EPE. Your mileage may vary.
