Grandma Katie calls this "The Prettiest Place in the World", and
she took us there on Christmas Eve day to show it to us. We agreed
with her and hid this cache to show it to you.
There is no single 'prettiest place' - it's the entire walk
along the cove. The cache is in the middle of the walk. See how far
you can continue after making the find.
Note: the cache can be reached while standing on the
trail. Do not bother investigating any area that would require you
to leave the trail.
The parking fee to get into Point Lobos state park was $9.00 on
the day we visited. You can save the money by parking outside the
gate on Highway 1 and hiking in to the cache. Add a half-star to
the terrain if you do so.
