Zbojnícka chata sa nachádza vo Velkej Studenej doline
vo Vysokých Tatrách. Popri celorocnej
prevádzke chata ponúka bohaté možnosti
pre lahkú i nárocnú turistiku, horolezectvo aj
skialpinuzmus. Prístupná je nielen z Hrebienka, ale
aj z viacerých susedných dolín - cez Teryho
chatu [ Malá Studená Dolina ] alebo Sliezsky Dom [
Velická Dolina ] resp. z Lysej Polany [ Bielovodská
Dolina ]
Zbojnicka chata is located in Velka studena dolina in High
Tatras. The cottage is open all year and offers rich opportunities
for light trekking as well as more demanding touristics. You can
reach it from Hrebienok as well as from some neighbouring valley -
from Teryho chata [ Malá Studená Dolina ] or Sliezsky
Dom [ Velická Dolina ] respectively from Lysa Polana [
Bielovodská Dolina ].
This cache was hidden during alphaforce winter 2007 meeting at
Zbojnicka chata. The trip from Rainerova chata took aproximately 6
hours !!! Usually it is only 3 hours.
The weather was terrible, visibility max 5 meters with fresh
snow till hips. We were not able to see the cottage from 40 meters
even the lights of the cottage were turned on. Our team was divided
into two groups and for more than hour we had MIA members. They did
not respond to radio transmitter. Finaly one hour later we saw the
headlights of their lamps and 30 minutes later they climb last 100
meters. This experience even more helped to build our team spirit
and we are looking forward for 2008 campaigns. Next morning we put
the cache on the coordinates. I hope it will last long because it
is located on a very open space. Please if you consider it too easy
for muggles, just remove it, hide somewhere else and send
coordinates. It the winter time it was impossible to walk too far
from the cottage because of show and ice.
