This cache is nicknamed “procrastinators’ cache” as fellow Geocacher Alysn and I have talked about placing a cache at the rock maze for about two years, and just as we finally got around to placing one, we noticed that someone did so a month before us.
Luckily, while the main part of the rock maze is most known, the interesting rock formations actually continue into a “C” shape. Very few take the time to explore the rest of the “maze”, so we hope you enjoy this cache while you are in the area.
We hope this find will be a bit of a challenge. You will need to bring a pen and please be sure to place the cache back exactly as you have found it to preserve the fun for the next person.
Parking can be done at the parking coordinates posted below, or at the Steamboat Picnic Area just across the road if given location is either full or not well suited to your vehicle.
