Geocache Description:

A slight change in plans: The NBRR has requested that we change locations due to nesting Oystercatchers.

Come out and join us during this Earth Day Weekend as we help the Narragansett Bay Research Reserve tackle the trash on picturesque Prudence Island!

We will meet starting at 9:00 a.m. at the posted location on the island for some coffee & donuts and a safety briefing. At 10:00 am, the NBRR will transport us out to the clean-up location. The event will last until around noontime when we'll get a ride back to where we started.

So, how do I get there?

- Intrepid paddlers can kayak over, or

- You could take the ferry over from Bristol, or

- Ride the shuttle with Captain Baddshadd from Weaver Cove. [First trip leaves at 8:00 am]

To help us in our planning, please post the number of adults and/or children who will need a boat ride over from Weaver Cove.
If you are taking the ferry, let us know so we can get you picked up at the ferry dock!

There are limited restroom facilities on the island. You are responsible for bringing your own drinking water. We will post more information as it becomes available. Rain date is Sunday the 26th. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions!
