Geocache Description:

Welcome to Milwaukee’s East Town neighborhood! You’ve arrived at County Clare. Across the street you’ll see the historic Astor Hotel, completed in 1920.

Meet the neighborhood!

If you stroll a few blocks to the EAST, you’ll discover bluffs that overlook the shore of Lake Michigan. To the SOUTH, you’ll find the business district - home to large skyscrapers and professional offices. To the WEST, you’ll find historic homes, churches and sections of the Milwaukee School of Engineering campus. To the NORTH, you’ll head toward Milwaukee’s East Side neighborhood.

TO FIND YOUR CACHE, search for the soccer-playing toucan, and decode the riddle below for a clue!

PASSPORT CHALLENGE: If you are completing our passport (download at www.visitmilwaukee.org/geocache), find the large banner on the side of the guesthouse and decode this word:
