4:00 - 6:00 geocaching around the area. - Hang out at the NNJC GONE
picnic with your geo-friends for some geo-stories. 6pm Picnic ends.
The park closes at 8pm.
FOOD
THIS IS A POT LUCK PICNIC ~ NNJC will provide hot dogs and
accompanying supplies. Please bring your favorite food, desserts
and drinks for all to share. (NO ALCOHOL ~ NO PETS). Please post on
your attendance log what you will be bringing. Thank you
ACTIVITIES: Geocaching POKER RUN (5 new caches will be available
by Saturday) NNJC Picnic, camping, sharing caching stories with
fellow geocachers. Voorhees State Park has a lot of existing caches
for you to enjoy, all while spending time at the NNJC picnic.
CAMPING INFO: NNJC has rented a group camp site for up to 50
campers. This will be on a first come first serve, otherwise there
is also plenty of family tent sites available nearby. More info on
registering will follow.
NNJC ~ POKER RUN
Definition: A Poker Run is an organized event where attendees
travel over a prescribed course and at designated stopping points,
select a sealed envelope with a playing card. At the end of the
run, the person with the best poker hand wins a prize. A poker run
packet with information with cache detail will be handed out at the

The NNJC Poker Run will take place from 10am to 3 pm around
Voorhees State Park, WHEREAS ALL HANDS WILL BE OPENED, NOT BEFORE
3PM.
To avoid confusion and disappointment, it is important that the
poker run has clear ground rules which all participants
understand:
* The first thing to stress is that although this is a "run",
there are no prizes for speed - it does not matter who is first to
complete the course. It is not a race.
* The winning hand is determined by standard poker hand
rankings.
* There will be winners for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place as well as the
worst hand.
Winning Hands:
GONE #6 GEOCOIN
We are producing a unique collectable GONE #6 Poker Run Geocoin
in the shape of a playing card. Keeping our traditional GONE Owls
within the coin, which have appeared on all the past GONE coins,
with the exception of the first event. These geocoins will be
produced in three metals with limited editions sets, and will be
trackable on Geocaching.com. Details will be posted on NNJC.org
