Warning

Please note: To use the services of geocaching.com, you must agree to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

The city of Round Rock was named after a specific geological feature along Brushy Creek. What was so important about some rock in a creek? Visit the site of this virtual cache to see for yourself.

For an idea of why this rock and this location was important read the historic marker at the site and be sure to search the exposed creek bed on the creek's north side (east of the cache site) for enduring marks left behind by those traveling long ago.

To confirm your visit to this virtual cache site you must provide an answer to following question:

Just to the north of the Round Rock is a park rules sign. What are the first two words of park rule "B"?

You can auto-confirm your cache find by visiting the following web page and providing the correct answer to the question:

Auto-confirm The Round Rock

If the auto-confirm web page is not functioning then you can send your answer to me via email. Do not include your answer in your log, even if encrypted.

Logs that are not verified either through email or via the website will be deleted. Email verification is not complete until you receive a confirmation from the cache owner. Verification is not optional.
