Geocache Description:

A relaxing stroll in some beautiful gardens. Be sure to bring some nuts to feed the squirrels. They are so tame they eat from your hand. Also, while you are here, why not take in a visit to the planetarium. Its a steal at only R20 a show.

This cache is a slightly different idea, in that I am not giving you the co-ordinates to the sub-caches to get the clues for the final cache. You'll just have to wander around and locate these by yourself, so put your GPS away and enjoy the scenery for a change! The co-ords above are for the entrance to the company gardens. Please note that all clues and cache are in the gardens - you do not need to cross over Goverment Avenue to find clues.

Enjoy your walk!

Clue 1 : A green turtle can grow up to what mass?
(Note: Turtle is currently away on leave - look for glass display cabinet on planetarium side of Garden - answers are still there)

Ans = 27A kg

Clue 2 : How many vertical bars are there, holding the 3 sections of the green bar surrounding the petrified tree?

Ans = X
F = X - 7

Clue 3 : How many majors " Have names that liveth for evermore"?

Ans = E

Clue 4 : How many rose beds are there in the rose garden?

Ans = xy
D = y - x

Clue 5 : In what year was the fountain statue erected as a memorial to Howson Edwards Rutherford Esq?

Clue 7 : In one of the bamboo groves, how may "long" stepping stones (at 90° to the rest) are there over the stream?

Ans = X
C = X + 2

Final Cache = S 33° 5A' BCD
E 018° 2E' FG

Finding the final cache should be easy, but it is in a high density area, so be discreet.
Cache is hidden in a Natal Fig Tree. If you don't know what one looks like, go to Natal, and have a fig :-)

Don't approach tree directly, but rather come around from the right, so as not to walk on the plants.

The cache is a pill container, and is at back of tree, in a nook about shoulder height. You need to reach quite far up in the hole, and to the left
