Geocache Description:

Possibly the exact location where Dorothy Gale landed on the Wicked Witch of the East

Walking out in the wadi one day I came across a brick ruined structure that appears to have been dropped out of the sky. I have asked many people who frequent the wadi where it came from and have received a different answer from each person. Among the stories, I was told it was supposed to be part of a movie set. Another person said that it was going to be built as a mosque, but that it was never completed.

The truth is probably that this is actually Oz and this was the house Dorothy piloted from Kansas.

Be careful scrambling through the loose bricks. The cache is not supposed to be too hard to find. It is near something of a wall, in a hole with a brick or two on top of it. It is a medium lock 'n' lock. Of course, there is swag. This cache is an easy walk in from the front gate and can be done at the same time as several other caches in the area. We love hiking and caching in the Wadi. It is peaceful and beautiful.
