Geocache Description:

Parking for two cars can be found at N54 19.242, W002 57.461. Walk up road for about a quarter of a mile to find public footpath signposted on the left. Footpath through woods downhill, will eventually take you to a boathouse on shore of Windermere, which will mean you have gone too far!

The cache is a small clip-sealed box, containing logbook/pencil, TB and other small items. Site can be seen from boulder at side of path, up and slightly to the right in a craggy outcrop after path crosses from stream (when walking from suggested parking). Lots of bracken in the summer

After finding cache, the walk continuing along the lake is beautiful. This is a lovely, quiet public footpath in the woods.
