Geocache Description:

A multipart tour of artistic Bloomsbury leading to a generous traditional cache in its literary heart.

Its location is N 51. 31. ABC
W 000. 07. DEF

The cache has 7 parts, the first 6 are virtual, clues from which will, when put together, give the location of the cache box. The cache and a number of the clues can only be collected during daylight hours.

Part the first
“This man was a real dish”
N 51. 31. 415
W 000. 07.953
A gem of a museum is hidden away here. Its free and well worth a look. While looking there at this “elementary” place there is clue behind you. There is a century on top, what number is under this? Answer = “A”.

Part the second
“Don’t be wet about this”
N 51. 31. 302
W 000. 07.564
This is a famous square with a (less) famous fountain. It is set in the ground and has 13 outer jets that flick on and off. If you are lucky you may see it spring into action and catch the unwary! While waiting count the number of INNER jets surrounding the central one. This number =”B”.

Part the third
“See how a rake progresses”
N 51. 31. 018
W 000. 07. 044
Another unappreciated gem- and another free museum. The museum opens from 10 until 5 except on the first Tuesday of every month. When does it close then? This number = “C”.

Part the fourth
“What the Dickens?”
N 51. 31. 412
W 000. 06.982
Not a free museum, I'm afraid. If you do decide to go in; what time will this place close on a Wednesday? This will give you “D”.

Part the fifth
“A champion of non-violence”
N 51. 31. 501
W 000. 07. 750
A statue to someone famous for NOT fighting (for a change). The statue was placed here in 199E.

Part the sixth
“Who’s afraid of….”?
N 51. 31. 355
W 000. 08.427
Here is a plaque commemorating a famous writer. Actually there was more than one here, so use the clue to sort out which one we want. Take when they arrived here from when they left to give “F”.

Put these together to give yourself the final location. Don’t worry about collecting it- the natives are friendly. If they seem otherwise then I promise they are only “Playin”!

The cache box contains objects of a “gamey” and a “literary” theme. Books, games, juggling balls, computer games, cards, dice.
